Hazlewood cleared of injury however Sean Abbott ruled out of Test

Josh Hazlewood has been cleared to join Australia's squad for the first Ashes Test post-injury worries, however, teammate Abbott will miss the match

Both suffered muscle problems during their match for NSW versus Victoria in the Sheffield Shield recently

Captain Pat Cummins will miss the initial match, starting November 21, so the loss of another experienced fast bowler such as Hazlewood might have represented a major blow

Abbott was not expected to participate in Perth, while Hazlewood will combine fellow quicks Starc and Boland as the primary pace attack

Cummins, who is recovering from a back injury, is thought to be scheduled to reappear during the next Test commencing December fourth
